Wednesday, 3.2:

  • PDQ for Regulation 2 is due Tomorrow.
  • You should also read pp. 1 & 2 in the Domain 5 packet, and color in p. 3.  Because Hox Genes are cool!
  • Read “Evolution Hidden in Plain Sight” article in Domain 4 packet (pp. 95-98), and complete the close reading/response items on p. 98.  This would normally be due on Friday, but I’m not going to be here.  So you can hand it in on monday, but…
  • Complete Excretion handout as per instructions on p. 81 and p. 84.  Remember that this is taking the place of your Osmoregulation/Excretion PDQ.  Remember that you need to do this on your own, and that it counts for a quiz grade.  This is due on Monday.  Nutrition (p. 83) will be due on Tuesday.  Circulation (p. 85) will be due on Wednesday, and Gas Exchange (p. 82) will be due on Thursday.

Thursday, 3.3 & Friday 3.4:

  • Please make sure you have your Domain 5 packet with you in class on Friday.
  • Test Corrections are due on Tuesday.

  • WSQ2s for lessons 7.8(Formula Mass) & 7.9(Percent Composition) are due on Thursday.  There is only one GoFormative, to be completed at the end of lesson 7.9.

Period 1:

  • Complete as much of pp. 25-29 as you need to in order to feel comfortable with formulas and names.  Try interleaving them as you do them (do 3 in a section, then move to another section and do 3 more, and keep repeating).  It will seem harder, but you’ll retain more of what you are learning.

Thursday, 2.4:

Period 1:

  • If you need more practice naming compounds, determining formulae, or drawing Lewis structures, you should complete any of the practice pages from your unit 7 packet that deal with that material.  Answers can be had at extra help!

Period 3:
