  • Tomorrow, you will test the effect of a different variable on the behavior of the pillbugs.  You will have the following materials:  tin foil, syrup, weak acid, salt water.  Design a protocol using this material that you can use tomorrow to test the effect of a different variable on the behavior of pilbugs.
  • Write out the procedure that you are planning to use to analyze the data from today’s lab.  What will you do to the data?  Why will you do it?  What will you learn from having done it?  Be prepared to discuss all of these questions in class tomorrow.
  • Due:  Friday, 9/13

Friday (9/13):

  • Work to complete your summer assignment.
  • Begin the process of writing up the lab.  Use a google doc that is shared among all group members and me.  Include an introductory discussion of each part, protocol for each part, data from each part (in tables), data analysis where possible.  Don’t work on the conclusion just yet.  There are extensive lab report guidelines to help you with this in your lab manual.
